Karen Wootton has practiced law in Las Cruces and Southern New Mexico for more than thirty years, mixing commercial transactional work, and civil litigation.

Currently, she works off-record with co-counsel in civil litigation, particularly in commercial, real estate, and estate and trust disputes, handling document analysis, legal research and writing, strategic planning, and discovery support.

Ms. Wootton no longer accepts work that requires appearance of record.

Ms. Wootton has an of-counsel relationship with the Carrillo Law Firm, P.C., and also works with other attorneys.

Ms. Wootton also provides legal advice to clients related to their rights in these areas, when no litigation is pending.

She also consults on commercial and estate matters, but no longer provides transactional drafting services.
